Our volunteers have rallied to offer a ONE NIGHT ONLY special version of the Darker Mount Hope Walking Tour after we had to cancel our annual fundraising event last weekend.

Allhallowtide has ended, the soul cakes have been eaten, and the nights grow ever longer as the November winds whip through the trees. Come walk with us in the gathered shadows during Bangor Historical Society’s One Night Only Darker Mount Hope Walking Tour.

Meander the paved paths as a cast of living souls will regale you with true stories— dramatic, moving, touching, mysterious, and a little spooky —sprinkled with history, of course— about the permanent residents of Mount Hope and Bangor’s past.

The nighttime walking tour of one of the oldest garden cemeteries in the nation is an annual fundraiser for the Bangor Historical Society and a seasonal favorite. This event is a major fundraiser for the Bangor Historical Society, and your support is greatly appreciated.

Advanced Ticketing is required. Tickets are $12.

Tours will leave every half hour between 6-8:30 PM.

The bad news: Unfortunately, we can’t transfer tickets from last week due to limitations in our ticketing software. All tickets will have to be purchased through the link.

The good news (refund update): We will begin processing refunds for the last event. This is a manual process, and our volunteer ticket manager is moving as quickly as possible. We appreciate your understanding.
