Dames and fellas put on your glad rags, hop in your jalopy, and head down to the riverside to celebrate
the 155th Anniversary of the Bangor Historical Society on March 15th
at the 2nd Annual Speakeasy and 155th Annual Meeting.
There will be music from the Brian Nadeau Big Band, a cocktail hour, dinner, dancing and –new this year– the kick-off of the Historical Society’s new awards program.
Our new Executive Director, Michael Melochick will be there to meet everyone!
Spend some time during Bangor’s Prohibition Era past with live music, a full dinner, and a brief program at a hush-hush location — after all, we don’t want those bulls to chase us out of our swell party.
March 15, 2019, 6-9 p.m.
500 Main St, Bangor, ME 04401
We’re not taking lettuce or wooden nickels, but you can buy tickets online right here!
If you can’t join us at the gin joint, please update your information so we can tell you about other interesting member events!
(And in case you need more convincing, check out all the folks at the 2018 Speakeasy!)
With grateful appreciation of our presenting sponsor
*Hint: Our location may have something to do with our presenting sponsor…shhhhhh.
