Bangor’s Story Worth Protecting: Our Historic Neighborhoods

Our next virtual presentation will be with Anne Krieg who is the Planning Officer for the city of Bangor. She has previously worked in the towns of Bridgton and Bar Harbor, working on historic preservation initiatives as part of her duties as Planning & Development Director. Prior to moving to Maine in 2002, she was also the town planner for the towns of Reading and Danvers, Massachusetts. Anne is a graduate of the State University of New York, College of Environmental Science and Forestry at Syracuse University.Anne will be discussing the work of Bangor’s Historic Preservation Commission and how the city protects its history and neighborhoods with the city’s historic district designations.
